Yes yes, my dears, a proper post after what seemed like all eternity.

Mid-years revision was worse then all the SYF practices and PW lessons put together, what more can I say. Guess what I've already plan out pretty excuses for my not-so-pretty upcoming results 1. Bro was the one who got the X Men Trilogy (died drooling plz). 2. Was preoccupied with more important stuff in term 2 than studying 3. Why won't EA Games give me Sims 3 now so I will stop reading on Sims 3-related-everything (and... start playing? Ok wait wrong excuse).

Its okay its over its time to play. ^^

Swensens, frolick (with fruity pebbles :D!!) and hot-guys-on-big-screens today. Happy day exceptionally bouncy. :D

We stood there watching, watching the little balloon carrying our inked wishes fly further and further away. Watching it until it was so far away that even the tiny blue speck in the sky disappeared.

Today I got Eugene to scope down the grey helium balloon in council room and tied it to my hand. :D By 6 o'clock it was pretty deflated but it still managed to rise to the sky with wishes for guitar!

I saw a rainbow today!

And I was playing (fine fine, attempting to play) Jay Chou's Cai Hong on my guitar when my mom told me to look out of the window. It was really pretty... and I started jumping around cause I realised I successfully willed a rainbow with my guitar. 8D

I didn't catch the supposedly gigantic and pretty rainbow yesterday evening. D<

There was once, when I was really really young, where my family went to Batam for a vacation and we had one of those cute red vans to get around. The memory is a little vague now but I remembered it was raining and when the rain let up we stopped the van and alighted. We were on this gigantic bridge with blue water below and colourful rainbow above and we had popsicles together when it was cold out and it was one of the best memory of my childhood that I could remember.

I used to thought rainbows were miracles.

Chinese New Year felt different this year. Just strangely... empty. Perhaps everyone of my family felt the same bitterness deep inside but just didn't felt that it was right to voice out how much they miss...

Been trying to sort out my feelings this past few days. Thanks to CNY, I've found opportunities to talk to my family.

So here, after all the thinking, I conclude - I will no longer strive for success, instead, I'll learn to be happy even with the slightest things around me.

Because it feels like I've wasted half of my life feeling upset and worried. Because, "I just want you to be happy, dear". Because I'm living for myself, and not for the people around me.

With each smile, Linjing will grow. :D

Pasir Ris Park with Casslyn this morning. :D We cycled to the horse stables and I got reallyyyyy excited, insisting on taking photos with the ponies although I was pretty afraid they'll kick me. After that was Tampines Mall for lunch and colouring a aeroplane that doesn't look like a aeroplane anymore. x)

Though I did receive feedback that my er, body language (I sway from side to side when I'm nervous hokay!) was very distracting. Eheh.

Now that I'm in Secondary 2, stress and tension could easily be felt everywhere and through every little thing. But still, I'm not going to complain or whine because it is a learning process and I'll definitely make it through with flying colours no matter what happens.

2009 New Year Resolutions

1) Prioritize. Spend more time building relationships and devote more time to guitar/council rather than er, studying (Stop. Calling. Me. A. Nerd. Damnit.)/getting myself addicted to Sims 2 many expansion packs.

2) Learn to appreciate things around me and for the last last last last last time, stop whining.

3) Try to 'Always think on the brighttttt side of life~' (sings)

Council Bonding Camp 2008!

Because what I saw and what I felt left me thinking maybe, I could have done better.

I've never felt so strongly about council before, and all I want to say is, I love you council, I love you so, so much.

In conclusion on 2008, this year had truly been fantastic.

Lots of ups, lot of downs. I'm glad I've survived and grown stronger through opening up and experiencing.

On a brighter note, Giselle's house party, family chalet, bonding camp and orientation camp coming up! (Now you now why I'm frigging worried about my uncompleted homework).

Busy busy.

Secondary 1 Registration was pretty amusing. Welfare was selling uniform and the queue was like, from the formal 1C's classroom all the way to the mural board. Saw quite a few Poichings (that will eventually be brainwashed into joining Guitar by yours truly. HAHAHAHAH) and went up to one of them to say Hi after all the hoo-ha was over. :D

Council Farewell yesterday. I'm glad the banner ended up with happy colours and was up around 2 hours before the actual thing. :D I left halfway during painting to collect the Welfare tee and buy the farewell stuff with Jasmine and co. though. :x

Anyway, the buffet food was better than I expected and caking was really funny (Clarice the evil caker. 8D). Got into a little trouble with my mom after the entire thing but the sparkling juice was worth it. (:

I love:

1) Flouring! Also captain's ball which is deemed pretty useless since both teams got floured anyway. (Another reason I like about flour - it miraculously disappeared from my hair, probably due to the wind. And yes somebody threw flour on my head I forgot who!!).

2) Endless round of Bridge (my new love) with Huizhen, Cheryl, Zhitao, Margaret and Felicia. :D

3) Stress with Yannie cause we screamed the chalet down with our very sexy voices.

4) Human Stacko. Hah hah hah.

5) AHS Guitar Ensemble. Pwned. {:

The concert was thumbs-up though we did screw up here and there. Still, I LOVE YOU AHS GE MUACKMUACK {:

There were some hiccups during the dry-runs/rehearsals (including me losing my beloved phone... and finding it) and everyone was pretty much rushing through their make-up and everything, but I'm really glad everything went as smoothly as it could. :D

Celeste and Jessica's pieces were so beautiful that I nearly cried backstage.

Many thanks to ushers, backstage and PA crew. Also, to make-up artists, teachers-in-charge and instructors. And lastly, to the supportive audience, thank you very much. :D

All in all, I did work out Haloscan in the end (well, after 67643544244 hours). I was very proud of myself until I realised it doesn't have the replyreply thing I wanted. /: However, there's a rating system, and a trackback, which, in a way, kind of balanced out my annoyance.

Today I'm told that I'll be leaving for Jakarta on the 3th Dec and coming back on the 15th. I'll be missing both Casslyn's and Valerie's birthdays (don't worry you guys will still got those jumbo hugs&kisses from me when I get back), Soedar's army-graduation-thingay and maybe some guitar practises.

Not really much anticipation/dread for the little trip though. Like the other two times I've been there, I'll probably be sleeping most of the time, considering how little there is to do there and how rare it is to get to town without getting stuck in a jam.

But, I have to say, they've got great food (I get fed four times a day) and hugiganticstrous malls that are three times the size of Vivo City. Oh, most importantly I get to spend.

I hope.

Whatever. Its not like I'm not wasting my life away in Singapore anyho.

Onwards, to Harmony concert, guitar chalet, Jakarta, spending moolah, birthdays, meet-ups, bonding camp and orientation camp! {:

Note to self:
1) Practise walking on cord shoes. Again. (I happily threw my cord shoes in the shoe rack after investiture and now I can't not look like a duck when I'm wearing it and walking /:).
2) Save money.
3) Buy lipgloss. And ask mom for foundation.

Schooling has taken up such a big part of my life that, for me, today seems to mark the end of 2008, and the first day of school next year will somehow appear to be the start of 2009.

Today, I sat down and thought of all that had happened this year, the good and the bad (procrastination, easily-distracted, hot-tempered, yeah yeah, same old, same old), the ups and the downs.

This had been one heck of a roller-coaster year. So much stuff happening so fast, too fast.

I've pulled through. This year is pretty much over.

Weird time to be moving. Inappropriate time to have shifted. (Yes, I know I should be studying.)

This is a take-up-space post, I've got nothing much to say.

I want to: eat fatty food and watch hot guys, bake something edible, go to the Singapore Zoo, rape Valerie, play excessive amount of computer games, go for Sakae Sushi buffet, get Soedar to do the stupid POSB transfer the next time he books out, go to the beach, plan 1Cee's class chalet, play with Lynus, sleep, chat online and not feel guilty, waste money, waste more money, cover every piece of item/furniture/blah at home with smiley stickers.
